This assignment was to create an imaginary brand, develop its design sensibility, and craft the packaging for a specific product. For this project, I designed Wave Shampoo, a product tailored for people with wavy to curly hair that suffers from heat damage, frizz, thickness, or texture.
The design sensibility I aimed for was clean, bright, and calming.
I started by sketching out ideas for the bottle shape and structure. I also researched what information should be included on a standard shampoo bottle, ensuring that the packaging would be informative and easy to navigate.
To further establish this brand identity, I created a custom font for the Wave logo, giving it a distinctive look that ties into the overall aesthetic. The design process involved multiple revisions to fine-tune the details and create a fun and inviting final product.
